The Aurora University Spartan softball team played a conference doubleheader at Rockford University Tuesday afternoon. The Spartans swept the Regents 11-0 ( 5 innings) and 8-5 and completed the four game series sweep.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE 
- The Spartans got on the board in the 2nd inning when Cassidy Rourke tripled with one out, Tyler Chambers would bring her in with a RBI single.
- In the 3rd, Delilah Aguirre and Bryanna Perez singled with two outs. Ashley Talaga would bring both runners in with her double.
- Chambers would knock Talaga in for her second RBI of the day. 4-0 Spartans.
- The Spartan offense exploded for five runs in the 4th as the Spartans capitalized on some Regent mistakes and Chambers knocking in two more runners.
- The Spartans added two more in the 5th on RBI hits from Shelby Linn and Jordan Seyfried.
- Hannah Tomasko would close out the game with a strikeout and only allowing two hits to help give the Spartans an 11-0 win.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- The Spartans opened up the scoring in the 3rd inning with five runs. 
- Brianna Lewis scored the first run of the game on a single by Lexie Rayborn. Josephine Lytton, Aguirre, Ally Vogel, and Talaga would all come across to score for AU.
- In the bottom half of the 3rd the Regents would score their first run of the day to cut the lead to 5-1.
- In the 4th, the Spartans brought across one more with Bryanna Perez getting the RBI.
- Cassidy Rourke led off the 5th inning with a blast to left center to extend the Spartan lead to 7-1.
- Rockford scored four in the 5th on three hits, cutting the Spartan lead to 7-5.
- The Spartans scored their final run in the 7th when Brianna Lewis singled to bring in Rourke.
- The Spartans won 8-5.
