The Aurora University ACHA D2 club men's hockey team will return to the ACHA D2 National Championship Tournament.

The Spartans earned a spot in the national tournament with their position in the final ACHA rankings as the Spartans finished the year ranked 12^th. AU will play in a pool with No. 4 Liberty, No. 5 Florida Gulf Coast and No. 13 Concordia Wisconsin.

The cities of Bismarck and Mandan, North Dakota, will host the 2021 ACHA Men's Division II National Championships from April 15-20, 2021.  Sixteen teams will converge on the Cadillac Rink in the Starion Sports Complex, Mandan, North Dakota and on Wachter Arena in the Capital Ice Complex, Bismarck, North Dakota, for three days of pool play, followed by a Banquet and Community Service Day on Sunday, April 18.  The championships, hosted by University of Mary, will conclude with Monday semifinals and a Tuesday evening National Championship game in Mandan.

The Spartans open up pool play on Thursday, April 15 against the Florida Gulf Coast University with puck drop is slated for 10:00 p.m.
