The Spartan baseball team traveled to Benedictine University for their final two games regular season conference contests of the season. The Spartans took care of business in game one, winning 7-6 and sealing the 2021 NACC South Division Championship.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS -
- AU took advantage of a two out error to score one run as Jacob Ambuel singled in Dylan White. The Spartans would strand the bases loaded before doing any more damage.
- In the second, Josh Reinhardt doubled to leadoff the inning and scored on a Paul Dobravec homer. AU added another run and led 4-0.
- BU scored three times in the bottom of the inning to see AU lead 4-3.
- A solo homer in the fifth from BU tied the game 4-4.
- In the top of the sixth, Reinhardt led off with a single and three wild pitches later her scored to give AU a 5-4 lead.
- Thanks to back to back walks to start the inning, BU scored twice and took their first lead in the bottom of the sixth, 6-5.
- As they have done a good portion of the season, the AU bats answered.
- A lead off single from Collin Meinert was followed by a run scoring double from Ambuel who then scored on a triple from Reinhardt and AU led 7-6.
- AU reliever Nathan Smith worked the final 3-2/3 innings of the game to seal the win and the NACC South Division title.
