Spartan come back falls just short in dual meet

The Aurora University Spartans men's wrestling team took on Milwaukee School of Engineering in a dual meet on Thursday night. The Spartans faced a large early deficit but fought their way back into the match, falling 24-20.

How it happened
- The Spartans got out to a fast start behind a majjor decision from Skyler Pike at 133 to lead 4-0.
- AU would suffer three falls and a forfeit in the next four weight classes and trail 24-4.
- Luke Silva got the Spartans back in the scoring column at 174 with a win by forfeit and AU trailed 24-10.
- Dylan Regnier-Jamnik followed at 184 pounds with a major decision to bring the score to 24-14.
- Christian Komitas moved up a few classes to take on the opponent from MSOE at 197 and won by a minor decision.
- The heavyweight class saw Armando Ferrer win by minor decision in an exciting battle that went down to the final seconds of the third round.
- AU battled back but came up just shy, falling 24-20.
