Spartans unable to overcome early deficit in dual with the Devils

The Aurora University Spartans men's wrestling team wrestled at home for the first time in the 2022-2023 season in a dual on Thursday night against Eureka College. AU fell 32-17, trailing 23-0 early and unable to overcome the deficit. Spartans Cam'Ron Harper and Luke Silva won their weight class matchup.

How it happened
- AU trailed 23-0 after dropping the first five matches
- Luke Silva got the Spartans on the scoreboard with a fall 2:01 into the match.
- Armando Ferrer won his match at 197 by disqualification when his opponent used an illegal move which resulted in the 6-0 decision.
- Cam'Ron Harper put his name in the winning column for the Spartans at 285, he won his match by technical fall with a score of 18-1.
- The Spartans would drop the dual by a score of 32-17.
