The Aurora University men's track and field team opened the outdoor season with a partial squad at the Rex Foster Twilight in Whitewater, WI.
 
Steven Tinsley had two top-ten in school history performances. In shot put, he threw 15.20m (49'10.50") on his last throw. This mark moved him up to fourth in AU history. Tinsley also placed fifth in discus. His throw of 42.06m (138'0") is sixth in program history.
 
Jalen Cole PR'd in the hammer throw. His throw of 43'44m (142'2") is ninth in program history. Cole also had a lifetime best in discus.
 
Steve Kalish PR'd in the 5K with a time of 16:39.99.

Next action for the Spartan women's track and field team is Monday, April 11 when they compete at the Old Fashioned Track Meet hosted by Wheaton College.
