The Aurora University baseball team dropped both ends of a NACC doubleheader, losing 8-6 and 8-4 at Benedictine.

GAME ONE
- AU fell behind 6-0 after two innings.
- Doubles from Jacob Ambuel and Jett Wedekind in the fifth got the Spartans on the board.
- Heading to the eighth, the Spartans trailed 8-1.
- In the eighth the Spartans showed they wouldn't go down quietly, with a lead-off to Wedekind. He scored on a single from Justin Sartori
- Later in the inning, Jack Seefeldt singled to score Sartori and AU trailed 8-3.
- The ninth saw Corey Vondra double and Wedekind reach (hbp) ahead of a Sartori three run homer.
- With AU down 8-6, BU made a pitching change before the final out.

GAME TWO
- The Spartans got the game two scoring started in the third inning with Jacob Ambuel singling to lead off and later scored on a Jett Wedekind single.
- BU tied the game in the fourth and then scored six runs in the fifth to take a 7-1 lead.
- AU loaded the bases in the sixth with two outs but were unable to scratch across a run.
- BU added one run in the bottom of the seventh.
- In the eighth, Jacob Ambuel hit a three-run home run to cut the deficit to 8-4.
- AU fell in game two, 8-4.
