The Aurora University women's lacrosse team opened the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play with a trip to Chicago to take on Illinois Institute of Technology. The Spartans dominated the Scarlet Hawks, winning 23-2.

Jalyn Yaukovitz scored the first goal of the game in 57 seconds.

Brianna Peck joined in on the scoring action. She was followed with a goal from Simpson and the Spartans led 14-0 going into halftime.
