The Aurora University women's lacrosse team opened the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play with a trip to Chicago to take on Illinois Institute of Technology. The Spartans dominated the Scarlet Hawks, winning 23-2.

 - The Spartans wasted no time getting on the board in the NACC contest as Jalyn Yaukovitz scored the first goal of the game in 57 seconds.
 - Spartan Bailey Simpson would score back-to-back goals for AU to put the Spartans up 3-0.
 - AU would score five more goals before the end of the first quarter with goals coming from Jalyn Yaukovitz (2), Monique Gibson (2), and Taylor Sims (1).
 - Bailey Simpson would go on her own 3-0 run to start the second quarter, 11-0 Spartans.
 - Jalyn Yaukovitz followed with her fourth goal of the night to make it a 12-0 Spartan lead. 
- With a 1:12 left in the first-half, Spartan Brianna Peck joined in on the scoring action. She was followed with a goal from Simpson and the Spartans led 14-0 going into halftime.
- Monique Gibson started the scoring for the second half going on her own 2-0 run. 
- Danielle Cobbett would find the back of the net making it a 17-0 Spartans.
- Jalyn Yaukovitz added one for the Spartans but the Scarlet Hawks quickly followed scoring their first of the night. 18-1 Spartans.
- Hannah Martindale scored her first of the night with 3:31 remaining in the third. 
- With one second remaining in the third, Monique Gibson would score another goal to extend the Spartans lead 20-1.
- IIT scored their final goal with 14 minutes to play.
- Spartans Kenly Axvig, Monique Gibson, and Sydney Mann would score the final three goals for AU.
- Spartans were victorious 23-2.
