Spartan women fall in NACC opener

The Aurora University women's soccer team opened up Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action at Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday afternoon. The Spartans fell to CUW 2-0.

How it happened
- After battling off back to back corner kicks, the Spartans fell behind 1-0 at 16:25 in the first-half.
- AU goalie Kelsey Deck had three saves in the first-half to keep AU within one at 1-0 going to halftime.
- The second-half was mostly played in the midfield until late in the frame.
- With under 10 minutes to play, the Spartans had a strong scoring chance stopped and on the ensuing Falcon rush, CUW scored to go up 2-0.
- The game would end 2-0.
