Sydnei Avery pulled the Spartans to down one at 19-18 but UWW closed the set on a 6-1 run to win 25-19 and lead 2-0.
- AU controlled the third set and this time when leading 20-13, closed out the set and won 25-19.
- The fourth set was tightly contested with the Spartans rallying to tie the score at 19-19 and continued into extra time at 26-26.

Kaycie Wenzel.
- Three Spartans finished in double-digits in kills and the team hit .206.
- AU trailed early in the opening set but grabbed the lead at 15-14 and went on to win 25-19.

- AU never trailed in the third set and dominated their way to a 25-13 set win.
- The fourth set was knotted 12-12 when AU finished on a 13-3 run to win 25-15.
