Spartan women drop meet while sweeping wrestled events

The Aurora University Spartans women's wrestling team had a successful night despite dropping the dual at Carthage College 20-18. The Spartans won all three matches in the dual that each side had a competitor at but forfeits accounted for the points for Carthage to knock off AU in team scoring.

- AU won the three events of the dual that were wrestled.
- Camila Neuman won at 109 by technical fall.
- Alexis Janiak needed 27 seconds to win by fall at 130.
- Bethany Regione won by technical fall at 143.
- Natasha Markoutis won at 136 by forfeit and then wrestled an extra non-scoring match and won by technical fall..
- Carthage accounted for their 20 points on four weight class forfeit wins.
- Two weight classes were results of double forfeits.
- The Spartans fell to Carthage 20-18.
