The Aurora University men's basketball team traveled to Concordia University Chicago for a post finals week clash. The Spartans fell to the Cougars in a late afternoon contest 86-76.

- AU led for most of the first-half, taking the lead for the final 13:38 of the first on a lay-up and free-throw from Noah Butler.
- A Michael Osborne jumper with 11:29 remaining in the first-half put AU ahead by seven at 17-10.
- The seven point lead was the first of multiple times AU would enjoy their largest lead of the opening 20 minutes.
- A Butler layup in the final seconds of the half sent AU to the halftime intermission up three at 33-30.
- The Spartans controlled the lead for over half of the second-half and led by a game-high eight when Dwayne Jervier Jr hit a jumper in the paint with 10:45 to play.
- Trey Jenkins put AU ahead 63-55 with 8:45 left in the game on a fast-break basket.
- A 13-4 CUC run over the next 2:30 of game action gave the hosts the lead at 68-67.
- A string of turnovers in the final minutes of the game proved to be to much for AU to overcome as the hosts countered with field goals.
- The Spartans would fall to the Cougars 86-76.
