Aurora University women's track and field student-athlete Deyanneira Colon Maldonado took on the field in the mile run in the 2023 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships on Friday afternoon.

Colon Maldonado ran a strong race with a time of 5:05.37 but her time was not enough to move on to the final in the mile on Saturday.

Next action for Colon Maldonado and the AU women's track and field team comes in the outdoor schedule on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 at the Illinois State University Redbird Challenge in Normal, Illinois.
