The Aurora University softball team returned home to host NACC action on Saturday afternoon against the Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran College. The Spartans swept the Warriors, winning game one 7-5 and game two 7-2.

Game One
- A solo home run in the top of the first gave the Warriors a 1-0 lead.
- The Spartans threatened in the bottom half of the frame, but left two runners on base.
- In the top of fourth, WLC added one on two hits and one Spartan error.
- The Spartans answered scoring four runs in the bottom half. With one out
Jordan Seyfried doubled down the left field line to score
Delilah Aguirre.
Jemma Fiehweg followed with an RBI single to bring across pitch runner
Madison Lung.

Kionna King kept the inning alive with back to back RBI singles and the Spartans took a 4-2 lead.
-WLC scored once in the top of the fifth.
- The bottom of the sixth saw three runs come across for the Spartans.
Ashley Talaga drove in

Makayla Reyes scored on an
Alex Thiel double.
- The Warriors added one in the seventh, but the Spartans were able to get out of the inning, defeating WLC 7-5.

Game Two
- The Spartans had bases loaded in the bottom of the second with no outs but could only bring in one run via walk.
- In the fourth, the Spartan bats came alive scoring six runs on five hits.
Delilah Aguirre led off the inning reaching hit by pitch and
Faith Biggs followed reaching on a bunt. Both Aguirre and Biggs scored on a double from
Jordan Seyfried.
- With one out,
Tyler Chambers drove in
Isabel Morales on an RBI single.
Ashley Talaga and
Alex Thiel both executed two out hitting with RBI singles to score Chambers and
Lexi Rayborn.
- Heading into the fifth the Spartans led 6-0.
- In the bottom of the fifth, AU brought in one on an RBI from
Jemma Fiehweg.
- WLC added one in the sixth and seventh, but the Spartans stopped the Warriors rally, winning game two 7-2.
