The Aurora University men's golf team won the 2022-2023 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship, the sixth consecutive year for AU. The 2023 title came in another impressive and record setting form as the Spartans won by 55 strokes with a four-round record score of 1,178. AU teammates

Jack Vercautren and
Braeden Duncan battled throughout the tournament for the top spot, finishing first, second and third. Boyajian and Vercautren tied for the lead at 292 over four rounds through 72 holes and forced a playoff between the two teammates. Boyajian won the playoff and individual medalist honors.

Christian Wakeford shot a 75 in the final round and shot a 148 over the final two rounds.
Next action for the men's golf team comes on Tuesday, May 16 through Friday, May 19 in the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship. The Championship will be held at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
