PRs fall at Carius-Gregory for AU women

The Aurora University women's track and field team competed at the Carius-Gregory Invitational from Thursday, May 11th to Friday, May 12th. 
Deyanneira Colon Maldonado ran a four second personal best in the 800m run, placing fifth with a time of 2:20.72. Madison Etheridge followed close behind, finishing sixth with a PR of 2:21.10. The women are currently third and sixth in school history, respectively. Freshman N'dya Fields ran a five second PR of 2:25.00. 
Lauren Bliefernicht ran a .12 second PR in the 100m dash. Her time of 12.49 is fourth in school history. 
Natalie Grimaldo ran a three second PR in the 400 hurdles, placing second with a time of 1:09.49. She is now sixth in school history. 
The men compete next at the Augustana Final Qualifier on Thursday, May 18th.
