The Aurora University men's track and field team competed at the Augustana College Midwest Twilight Qualifier on Thursday, May 18th. 

Robbie Peterson Jr won the high jump competition with an 8 centimeter personal best of 2.03m. He is currently ranked 20th in the nation, and is third in school history. 

Steven Tinsley threw a personal best in discus of 46.79m. He is now third in school history. He also scored in the shot put, placing eighth with a mark of 15.65m. 

Also finishing with collegiate bests were Liam Evans in javelin (40.22m)  and freshman Ethan Taylor in the 200m dash (23.39). 

A couple AU men now wait to see if their marks or times will qualify for the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Announcement will be made official on Sunday, May 21 by the NCAA.
