The Aurora University Spartans women's wrestling team hosted a CCIW dual meet with Carthage College and were victorious in dominating fashion, winning seven of the nine matches wrestled and won 37-7.

- AU led 5-0 with Genesis Ramirez winning by fall 1:56 into the opening match.
- Leading 6-4 going into the 116 match-up, Sharon Moreno won by forfeit.
- Natasha Markoutsis (136) won by fall (1:11) and AU led the meet 17-7.
- Olga Turiy (143) and Antonia Phillips (155) both won by forfeit and pushed AU's lead to 27-7.
- At 170, Mackenzie Konanz needed just 11 seconds to win by fall.
- Sydney Manos collected a forfeit win at 191 for the 37-7 AU win.
- AU would win 37-7 in the dual.


Next action for the Spartan women's wrestling team comes on Saturday, January 13 when they are scheduled to travel to Augustana College for a dual. First match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. in Rock Island, Illinois.
