Spartans Win Division II Flyer Invite By One Stroke

The Aurora University men's golf took on a competitive field of NCAA Division II program's at the Lewis University Flyer Invitational at Dubsdread at Cog Hill Golf Course. AU was in second, eight strokes back after one round on Monday before storming back to win the tournament by one stroke over the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. AU shot a two-round 603 (300/303).

- Maddux Tarasievich (individual) finished tied for second with a two-round score of 146 (72/74).
- Christian Wakeford finished eighth with a two-round score of 150 (75/75).
- Jackson Hulsey finished tied for ninth with a two-round score of 151 (74/77).
- Mattias Morris finished tied for 13th with a two-round score of 152 (77/75).
- Caleb Negley finished tied for 29th with a two-round score of 156 (80/76).
- Braeden Duncan finished tied for 36th with a two-round score of 158 (74/84).
- Brydon North (individual) finished 78th with a two-round score of 168 (80/88).

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Sunday, October 13 and Monday, October 14 when they travel to the 2024-2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship, fall rounds at BlackWolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin.
