The Aurora University men's basketball team took to the road for the first time as they opened Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play at Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday. The Spartans needed overtime with a four-point play from
Isaiah Davis giving AU the win, 86-82.

- AU got off to a fast start with three's from
Isaiah Davis and
Joevonn McCottry to lead 6-0.
- The first-half would stay close throughout with 14 lead changes and nine times with the score being tied.
- Heading to halftime, AU and MSOE were tied 40-40.
- The Spartans shot 50% from the field and 63.6% (7-of-11) from three in the first-half.
- The second-half was back and forth with once again the teams trading leads throughout.

Noah Butler got a put back to tie the score at 74-74 with just over a minute to play in the game.
- The basket would be the last of the second-half as the teams headed to overtime.
- In overtime the leads would go back and forth once again multiple times.
- With 1:17 left in overtime and the shot clock winding down,
Isaiah Davis coraled a loose ball and knocked down a three. Davis was fouled on the play, making the free-throw for the four-point play and an 84-82 AU lead.
- Still leading by two with two seconds remaining, a foul sent MSOE to the free-throw line. The Raider missed both as
Dwayne Jervier Jr grabbed the final rebound.
- Jervier knocked down both free-throws to seal the victory for AU 86-82.
