The Aurora University women's track and field team competed at the Windy City Rumble meet hosted by the University of Chicago on Saturday, February 10th. The Spartans tied with Wheaton College for 6th out of 11 teams with a score of 32 points.
Madison Etheridge ran a four second personal record in the mile. Her time of 5:22.34 placed fifth in the meet, and is sixth in school history. She is currently ranked third in the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference. She placed fifth in the 800 meter run as well with a time of 2:26.07
Lauren Bliefernicht ran a PR of 1:01.18 in the 400 meter dash, placing 6th. This time is 8th in school history, and currently ranks her third in the NACC.
Abby Liesen placed 3rd in the 5k with a personal best time of 18:58.4. This time improves on the 9th best time in school history, and currently ranks her 5th in the NACC.
N'dya Fields won the 3k with a 27 second PR of 11:08.71. She won by 17 seconds.
