The Aurora University Spartans men's wrestler Christian Komitas had a strong showing at the NCAA Division III championships on Friday, going 1-2 in the 174-pound bracket with the pair of losses both being to ranked opponents by 4-2 decisions.

- Christian Komitas went 1-2 in the 174 bracket, falling in the opening match to the No. 4 seed from Stevens by a 4-2 decision.
- In the second match of the day, Komitas defeated his opponent from Adrian College by an 8-4 decision.
- The the blood round, Komitas battled and fell to the No. 3 seed from Augsburg 4-2.
