The Aurora University baseball team got back in the win column in dominant fashion in a Saturday afternoon Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference doubleheader, winning both games in Plymouth, Wisconsin against the Muskies of Lakeland University. The AU offense exploded for 21 runs in the game in the 21-6 game one victory, before
Jack Fisher and
Sam Harvey combined to allow one run in the 4-1 game two victory.

Game One:
- AU struck for three runs in the top of the first, and it started with a
Derek Angelo RBI double that scored
Nico Bermeo.

Joe Lukancic came around to score a batter later on a
Logan Riley RBI ground out.
- The Spartans took a 3-0 lead when
Nik Panico hit a run scoring single.
- Lakeland scored one run in the bottom of the first to trim AU's lead to 3-1.
- Riley followed his first inning RBI with a run scoring single in the second.
- AU increased their lead to 6-1 in the second when
Dominick Curcio and
Tyler Patton drew back-to-back bases loaded walks.
- The Spartans tacked on one more in third when Angelo came around to score on an error.
- Patton hit a sac-fly in the fourth that allowed Panico to trot home. This made it 8-1 AU after four innings of play.
- In the fifth inning, Bermeo scored on a wild pitch for the first on nine AU runs in the inning.
- Panico followed this up with a three-run bomb that stretched the Spartan lead to 12-1.

Spencer Ruch sac-fly followed by a Lukancic two-run double made it 15-1 in favor of AU.
- Riley roped a two-run double of his own down the left field line, giving the Spartans the 17-1 lead after five innings of play.

- AU scored two more in the sixth inning on a Ruch RBI single and Angelo sac-fly.
- After a Lakeland run in the sixth, AU made their lead 21-2 in the top of the seventh.

Game Two:
- Bermeo led game two off with a single and later came around to score in the first off an error.
- Lakeland tied the game at one in the bottom of the first.
- The potent Spartan offense struck again in the fourth and made it 2-1. Rivera laced a single to left center that scored Panico.
- AU scored another run in the fifth when Angelo hit an RBI single that brought home Ruch.
- After five innings of one run ball,
Jack Fisher gave the ball to
Sam Harvey out of the bullpen.
- A Rivera double in the eighth gave Spartans a 4-1 lead.
- Harvey shut down the Muskies in the final four innings, helping AU pickup the 4-1 game two victory.
