The Aurora University baseball team finished the week long trip to central Florida with a 3-1 win in a match-up of nationally ranked programs. The #10 Spartans squared up with #18 Wheaton College (Mass.).

Bryce Miller worked out of runners in scoring position jams in the third and fourth innings to keep the game scoreless.

Sam Harvey was called on to relieve Miller in the bottom of the inning and tossed two scoreless innings.
- AU added an insurance run in the eighth with
Nico Bermeo scoring on a double by
Joe Lukancic.

CJ Cazares closed out the final two innings but not before some possible drama in the ninth with a two-out bases loaded situation. Cazares struck out the final Wheaton batter and AU was victorious on get away day, winning 3-1.
