The Aurora University men's track and field team competed at the Wheaton Don Church Twilight Invitational on Saturday, April 20th. The Spartans placed sixth out of 13 teams with a score of 45.5 points.
Steven Tinsley placed second in discus, throwing a 29-centimeter personal record of 47.08 meters. This mark is third in school history, and currently leads the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference. Tinsley also placed eighth in Shot Put with a mark of 13.76 meters.
Armando Acosta ran a PR of 4:05.08 in the 1500 meter run. This time is the seventh best in school history.
Ethan Sena placed sixth in the pole vault with a 10-centimeter personal record of 4.00 meters. This mark is the tenth best in school history.
