The Aurora University baseball team stayed on the road for another Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference doubleheader, their final one of the 2024 regular season against the Eagles of Edgewood College on Tuesday afternoon. After falling behind early in game one, AU came back for a 7-4 victory, before taking game two by a score of 9-6.

Game One:
- Edgewood took an early 3-0 lead after two innings of play.
- In the top of the third,
Nico Bermeo would come around to score off an Edgewood error. AU would trail 3-1 after three innings of play.

Logan Riley led off the fourth with a walk and would later come around to score on a
Spencer Ruch sac-fly, This trimmed the Eagle lead to 3-2.
- The dangerous AU offense put up three runs in the top of the fifth, starting with a
Nik Panico RBI single.

Logan Riley launched a ball over the center field wall for his seventh home run of the year. This gave AU a 5-3 lead.
- Edgewood scored one run in their half of the fifth to cut the Spartan lead to 5-4.

Joe Lukancic answered back in the sixth with his first home run of the year, making it 6-4 in favor of the Spartans.
- Pancio joined the home run party in the seventh with his 11th home run of the year. This increased the AU lead to 7-4.

Joey Pettit would finish off the Eagles 1-2-3 in the seventh to complete the 7-4 game one victory for AU.
- Pettit finished with three scoreless innings pitched out of the bullpen for the Spartans with five strikeouts.
Game Two:
- AU put up a five-run third inning in game two, starting with a Lukancic double down the left field line that scored
Tyler Patton and Ruch.

Dominick Curcio came around to score during the next at-bat off a wild pitch.
- Later in the third, Lukancic would score on a Riley fielder's choice ground out.
- The Spartans took a 5-0 lead
Sean Rivera grounded into a fielder's choice of his own, scoring
Derek Angelo.
- In the top of the fifth, Patton singled home
Jon Wray to extend the AU lead to 6-0.

Adrian Ruiz limited the Eagles to two hits and no runs through five innings of action.
- Edgewood scored their first two runs of the game in the bottom of the sixth to trim the AU lead to 6-2.
- The Eagles scored three runs in the seventh to trail 6-5.
- Bermeo started a four-run eighth for the Spartans with an RBI single that scored Ruch.
- A Riley RBI single followed by a Rivera sac-fly gave AU a 9-5 lead going into the bottom of the eighth.
- Edgewood scored one run in their half of the eighth, but that was as close as the Eagles would get in the 9-6 game two AU victory.
