The Aurora University men's track and field team competed at the NCC Carius/Gregory Invitational from May 9th to May 10th.

Steven Tinsley led the way for the Spartans with a pair of second place finishes in the Discus and the Shot Put. Also placing well for the Spartans in Shot Put was Cam'ron Harper with a fourth place finish and a mark of 13.72m

Freshman Armando Acosta continued to move up the school record board in the 800m run. His new PR of 1:54.39 is now the second fastest time in Aurora history, behind only the 1:54.35 school record.

Next up for the Spartans is the Augustana Twilight Qualifier. Competition begins Wednesday May 15.
