Aurora University senior middle Riley Moreno was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Volleyball Defensive Student-Athletes of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Moreno earned the honor after she played a huge role on the defensive side of the court for Aurora in a pair of 3-0 wins over Benedictine and MSOE. She averaged 2.33 blocks per set with 14 total - three solo and 11 assisted. In the 3-0 win at Benedictine, she collected one solo and eight assisted blocks and then added two solo and three assisted in the Senior Day win over MSOE.

Next scheduled action for the Spartan women's volleyball team comes on Tuesday, November 11 when they host Wisconsin Lutheran College in the first round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament. Opening serve is slated for 7:00 p.m. in Thornton Gymnasium.
