Spartan women finish 10th at Midwest Regional

The Aurora University Women's cross country team completed their season with a strong tenth place finish at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championships at Wartburg College. They scored 313 points to secure their finishing place. 
 
N'Dya Fields ran a tough race to lead the Spartan finishers in 23:20.4. This earned her a 36th place finish. 
 
Next for Aurora was Alex Gonzalez, who moved through the pack well in the race to finish 48th in 23:42.8. 
 
Emma Jasutis fought hard and crossed as Aurora's third woman in 24:04.8. 
 
Mika Fields was right behind her in 24:09.0, passing 11 competitors in the final kilometer to finish in 77th place. 
 
The fifth Spartan across the line was Mallory Arroyo in 24:18.4. 
 
Mia Luna and Ashley Harrison rounded out the Spartan's seven in 25:19.7 and 26:27.2, respectively.
