The Aurora University women's hockey team won the opener of the University of Dubuque Mississippi Match-Up, defeating Beloit College 2-0.

- AU came out quickly in the first period, scoring 5:35 into the game.
- Jillian Bilsborough scored the eventual game-winning goal with an assist from Samira Schmidt and Teagan Moffat.
- Goalie Macy Blooming stopped all seven shots sent her way in the first period.
- The second period was fairly uneventful until 2:54 left when AU went to the power play.
- 49 seconds into the extra skater, AU lit the lamp.
