Aurora University Athletics in conjunction with BSN Sports proudly announces the recipients of the BSN Spartan Athletes of the Week award. The honors are earned based on the student-athletes performances on their respective playing surface the previous week.

This week's honors go to AU student-athletes, junior Devon Richardson of men's basketball, sophomore Krystyna Manzanarez of women's basketball and freshman Jaden Davis of men's hockey.

Jaden Davis, men's hockey - 
Davis earned the honor after he helped AU to a 2-0 weekend with 4-1 and 5-3 wins at Hamline. He had three goals including the game winning goal in the game one 4-1 win. In the opener he had two goals and following up with a goal in game two.

Krystyna Manzanarez, women's basketball - 
Manzanarez earned the honor after she averaged 15.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 5.0 steals in a pair of AU victories over Benedictine and a non-conference with Rockford. In AU's 78-57 win over BenU, she filled the stat sheet with 16 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three steals. She then scored 14 points in 15 minutes of action at Rockford while collecting seven steals and four assists.

Devon Richardson, men's basketball - 
Richardson earned the honor after he posted a huge game in an 88-64 home win over Concordia Wisconsin. He tallied a double-double of 26 points while grabbing 19 rebounds, eight offensive while going 12-of-16 from the field.
