Krystyna Manzanarez scored 34 points with the Spartans collecting big outputs in the first and fourth quarters.

- The Spartans roared out to a 10-2 lead behind six points from
Kylie Fischbach and four from
Krystyna Manzanarez.
- Later in the first, back-to-back three's from Manzanarez and
Jennifer Heinberg built the Spartan lead to 13 (16-3).
- AU would lead 25-15 after the first quarter of action.
- After the lead dwindled to seven, a 6-0 AU run with another three from Heinberg and a basket from
Elizabeth Griswold pushed the advantage back to 13 (35-22).
- A three from Fischbach just before halftime sent AU to the break up 12 at 38-26.
- The Spartans fired out of the halftime break on a 7-2 run to extend the lead to 17.
