Five Spartan women qualify for NCWWC Nationals at NCWWC Region 5 Regional

The Aurora University Spartans women's wrestling team finished fourth in the 2024-2025 NCWWC Region V Tournament hosted on Saturday at Adrian College. Five individual Spartans qualified for the 2024-2025 NCWWC Nationals. Individuals with top four finishes qualify for the national tournament.

How it happened
Alexis Janiak won the 131 bracket. She had a 3-0 record on the day and with her finish qualifies for the NCWWC Nationals.
- The NCWWC qualification for Janiak is her third straight.
- Genesis Ramirez finished third at 103. She had a 3-1 record on the day and with her finish qualifies for the NCWWC Nationals.
- The NCWWC qualification for Ramirez is her second consecutive.
- Bethany Regione finished third at 124. She had a 3-1 record on the day and with her finish qualifies for the NCWWC Nationals.
- Tasha Markoutsis finished fourth at 131 and with her finish qualifies for the NCWWC Nationals.
- The NCWWC qualification for Markoutsis is her second consecutive.
- Mia Moore finished fourth at 110 and with her finish qualifies for the NCWWC Nationals.
- The NCWWC qualification for Moore is her second consecutive.
- Mackenzie Konanz finished sixth at 180.
- Antonia Phillips finished sixth at 160.
