Spartans Place 3rd At Indoor NACC Championships

The Aurora University Men's Track and Field team competed in the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship hosted by Milwaukee School of Engineering at UW-Parkside in Kenosha, WI.

The Spartans placed third with 74.50 points. St. Norbert won with 184.50 points, and MSOE was the runner-up with 178.50 points.

Steven Tinsley was conference champion in the shot put and weight throw. In the weight throw, his mark of 18.64m scored him the win by over 2 meters. His throw was a personal best, and he is now second in school history in the event. In the shot put, he scored a victory with a 16.29m throw.

Ethan Taylor scored an All-Conference honor in the 60-meter with a runner-up finish. MeKhii Morris-Heron also earned an All-Conference honor, finishing second in the 400-meter in 50.65. He is now fourth in school history. Armando Acosta finished All-Conference in both the 800-meter and the mile, with a third place finish in each event. His time of 4:19.24 in the mile is a new school record. The 4x400-meter relay of Ayden McGill, Joshua Beechler, MeKhii Morris-Heron, and Armando Acosta also finished in All-Conference position, with a third place finish in 3:28.90. The Distance Medley Relay team of Lucas Alvarez, Raymond Petzold, Joshua Beechler, and Liam Evans had a third place finish, also scoring All-Conference honors.
