Aurora University softball picked up two big wins in Florida, showcasing both offensive power and strong pitching. In their first game, the Spartans dominated Chatham with a 9-0 shutout, fueled by early scoring and a combined two-hit pitching performance from Rylee Campbell and Moa Rivera. Later, Aurora rallied from an early deficit to defeat Bridgewater (Va.) 7-3, using a late-game surge, highlighted by a two-run homer from Carly Clemens and clutch relief pitching from Rylee Campbell.

- Aurora wasted no time getting on the board as
Mia Rivera led off the bottom of the first with a walk and advanced to second on a free pass to
Faith Biggs.

Nina Richards followed with a two-RBI double to left center, plating both runners for the early lead.
Alex Thiel kept the momentum going with a single, and after a sacrifice fly from
Kelsey Oviatt, Aurora extended its lead to 3-0.
Angie Delgado capped off the four-run inning with an RBI single up the middle.
- Chatham looked to respond in the second, but
Rylee Campbell retired the side in order, forcing a groundout and back-to-back infield plays to keep the Cougars off the board.
- The Spartans kept rolling in the bottom half as
Aubrey Ortiz reached on a single, stole second, and moved to third on a passed ball. Biggs then roped an RBI double to the gap, and after an RBI knock from Richards, Thiel followed with a run-scoring double of her own. A wild pitch brought home one more as Aurora extended its lead to 8-0
- Campbell continued to dominate in the top of the third, forcing a pop-up, groundout, and strikeout to retire Chatham in order. In the bottom half, Biggs drew a walk, stole second, and came around to score on Richards second RBI single of the game to make it 9-0.
- Chatham threatened in the fourth with a two-out walk, but Rivera, who took over for Campbell, recorded a strikeout to escape the inning unscathed. The Cougars put runners on in the fifth after a leadoff single and a passed ball, but Rivera shut the door with consecutive strikeouts to seal the 9-0 run-rule victory.

Game Two vs. Bridgewater College
- Bridgewater struck first in the bottom of the first. They extended their lead in the second with an RBI single and a run-scoring hit, making it 3-0.
- Aurora chipped away in the third when
Aubrey Ortiz singled and came around to score on an RBI double from
Faith Biggs, cutting the deficit to 3-1.
- The Spartans broke through in the fifth as
Angie Delgado led off with a single, setting the stage for a two-run blast from
Carly Clemens to tie the game at 3-3.
Mia Rivera kept the rally going with a single, and a sacrifice bunt from Biggs brought home Ortiz to give Aurora its first lead of the game at 4-3.

Mia Rivera delivered back-to-back RBI singles. Biggs capped the three-run inning with a bases-loaded walk to extend the lead to 7-3.
