Spartans have tough day offensively at Marian

The Aurora University softball team dropped a doubleheader at Marian University, unable to score a run on the day, losing 8-0 and 4-0.

How it happened
Game One
- Marian scored a pair of runs in the first on AU starter Katelyn Serafin.
- AU had base runners in the early innings but couldn't scratch across a run.
- Rylee Campbell came in relief of Serafin in the fifth with AU down 5-0.
- Four singles plated three runs for Marian in the sixth as the game ended, 8-0.

Game Two
- Marian scored two runs in the first and that would prove to be enough on the day.
- The Spartans managed just three hits in the game and would fall 4-0.
