Box Score 2 The Aurora University baseball team followed their busy weekend of baseball with more Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action, this time against Edgewood College in a doubleheader at Jim Schmid Field. AU took game one by a score of 12-1 in seven innings backed by strong offensive days from Logan Riley and Carson Faust, as well as a one run complete game from Conner Hogan. The Spartans then won game two by a score of 17-4, also in seven innings, as AU hit four home runs as a team.

Game One:
- AU's offense exploded for four runs in the bottom-of-the-first, starting when Logan Riley went the other way for an RBI double.
- Riley came around to score the very next batter on a Nick Czarnecki RBI single.
- Ryan Buck kept the rally going with another RBI double for AU in the first, before Carson Faust extended the Spartan lead to 4-0 going into the second inning of play.
- Edgewood answered back with one run in the top-of-the-second to make it 4-1.
- In the bottom-of-the-third, Faust launched a ball for AU that went over the center field fence to make it 6-1.
- AU starter Conner Hogan settled in nicely on the mound after the Edgewood run in the second, retiring nine straight Eagle batters going into the bottom-of-the-fifth inning.
- Faust continued his strong day with another RBI single for the Spartans in the fifth.
- That Spartan lead extended to 8-1 in the sixth on a Buck RBI single.
- Riley ended the game in the bottom-of-the-seventh inning when he crushed a ball over the right field wall, giving AU the 12-1 win in seven innings.
- Hogan finished with only three hits given up in his seven inning complete game.
Game Two
- Edgewood grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the top-of-the-first-inning.
- AU answered back big in their half of the first, as Logan Riley went the other way for a three-run homer, making it 3-2.
- Nick Czarnecki followed Riley with a solo shot of his own, making it back-to-back home runs for the Spartans.
- After a Ryan Buck single, Brayden Gorecki nearly made it back-to-back-to-back for AU with a two-run homer, giving AU a 6-2 lead.
- That lead stretched to 8-2 for AU in the second after a Carson Faust walk scoring Riley, as well as a Spencer Ruch sac-fly.
- Joe Lukancic joined the Spartan home run party in the third with a two-run shot of his own.
- In the bottom-of-the-fourth, Faust started an AU rally with a run scoring double down the left field line.
- Matthew Washington walked, before a Lukancic double made it 14-2 in favor of AU.
- That lead became 17-2 following Czarnecki ground out and Buck two-run double.
- Despite two runs from the Eagles in their half of the seventh, AU would take the game by a score of 17-4.
