The Aurora University softball team dropped a doubleheader at Benedictine University, falling 2-1 and 7-4 in the two NACC contests.

Game One
- A lead-off walk for BU in the first came around to score and give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
- Doubles from
Lily Komperda and
Faith Biggs plated a run in the third for a 1-1 score.
- A one-out walk in the fourth was followed by two singles and BU scored to take the final lead of the game at 2-1.
- AU threatened in the seventh with a double from
Carly Clemens but she was left stranded at third with the final out.
Game Two
- AU opened up the scoring with a pair in the top of the first.Â

Lily Komperda tripled to score
Faith Biggs and Komperda scored on a bunt single from
Alex Thiel.
- Three hits and an error allowed BU to score four times in the bottom of the first.
- Two AU singles and a BU error in the second produced two runs on a
Nina Richards single which tied the game 4-4.
- BU scored two runs in the bottom of the second in a crazy start to game two.
- BU scored one more run in the sixth on an AU error as the game ended with a 7-4 final.
