Bliefernicht Wins Track Athlete of the Meet as Spartans Finish Third

The Aurora University Women's Track and Field team competed in the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship hosted by St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI.

The Spartans placed third with 127.5 points. St. Norbert won with 269.5 points, and Concordia University Wisconsin was runner-up with 150 points.

Lauren Bliefernicht earned two conference titles for the 100-meter and the 200-meter. She ran 12.04s for the victory in the 100-meter, and 25.31s for the win in the 200-meter. She also won the Track Athlete of the Meet Award for the NACC Championships.

Deedee Colon Maldonado won conference championships in both the 1,500-meter and the 5,000-meter. In the 1,500-meter, she ran 4:46.92 for the victory. Later, she raced to a 17:08.50 finish in the 5,000-meter to take the win. This is a new NACC championship record by nearly 40 seconds.

Mika Fields won the 800-meter title in 2:18.09. She is now second in school history in the event.

Skylar Gibbs won the Heptathlon competition with a score of 3720 points. She won four of the seven events contested and finished in the top three in two other events.

Emma Jasutis took home all-conference accolades in the Steeplechase, finishing third in 12:09.92. The 4x100-meter relay of Ari Mack, Lauren Bliefernicht, Grace Beilfuss, and Alayna Koehler finished in third place for all-conference honors in 49.54s.The 4x400-meter relay of Mack, Bliefernicht, Fields, and Colon Maldonado also earned all-conference honors with a third place finish in 4:06.02.
