The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced their awards for the 2024-2025 NCAA Division III season with numerous Spartans earning top honors for the strong on the course performance throughout the year..

AU junior Jackson Hulsey and freshman Mattias Morris played their way to 2024-2025 Golf Coaches Association of America / Ping Division III All-American honors as honorable mention selections, with Morris being named to the GCAA All-Freshman Team and Region Freshman of the Year and Head Coach Justin Wyeth was named the Region 6 Coach of the Year.

The All-American selections for Hulsey and Morris mark the fourth straight season AU has had an All-American honoree and they are the third and fourth individuals in AU history to receive the honor.

Hulsey and Morris were previously named to the GCAA Region 6 All-Region Team while leading AU to the 2024-2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship and return to the NCAA Division III Championship. Both earned NACC All-Conference honors with Hulsey capturing medalist honors at the NACC Men's Golf Championship and Wyeth was named NACC Coach of the Year.

The 2024-2025 Spartans set a new program standard with a ninth place finish at the 2025 Championship event with a four-round score of 1,195. Morris finished in the Top-10 individuals with a tie for seventh. He shot a final round two-under 70 to tie the best-round in AU golf history with a four-round 291.

The 2024-2025 season concluded for the Spartans after their won their eighth straight Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship while making a seventh straight NCAA Championship appearance which resulted in a program best finish.
