NABC Honors Court

Three Spartans honored by NABC

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the NABC Team Academic Excellence and Honors Court, representing outstanding achievement in the classroom by men's college basketball teams and student-athletes during the 2024-2025 season.

The NABC Honors Court, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-2025 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Over 2,100 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court for 2024-2025. 
 
Aurora University had three student-athletes selected to the team based on their success in the classroom. The Spartans earning the NABC Honors Court recognition included Dillon Harrison, Dwayne Jervier Jr and Maxwell Marius.
 
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
 
1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale at the conclusion of the academic year.
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
4. Member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution.
