The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2025 All-Academic track and field honors which recognizes teams and individuals for their success both academically and athletically..
The Aurora University men's and women's track and field team were each among the NCAA men's and women's teams that earned All-Academic honor. The Spartan men ended the season with a 3.20 and the women had a 3.43 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
In order to be in contention for USTFCCCA Scholar Team of the Year, a program must finish highly at the respective national championship meet and have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA.
Individually, Spartan student-athletes Lauren Blieferniht and
Deedee Colon Maldonado qualified for the USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. To qualify, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and must have met at least one of the following athletic standards:
- Must have finished the indoor season among the top 50 individuals as listed on the descending order lists on TFRRS. In addition, any athletes not among the top 50, but who participated at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, are eligible.
- Must have competed as a member of one of the top 35 relay teams as listed on the indoor descending order list on TFRRS. In addition, any athletes not among the top 35 relay teams, but who participated in the relay at the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships, are eligible. Finally, any competing relay team member on an expanded descending order list to include 35 institutions (1 relay team per institution) is eligible.
