The Aurora University Men's cross country team opened the 2025 season with a fifth place finish at the North Park / CUC Early Invitational co-hosted by Concordia University Chicago and North Park University. The team scored 114 points. Elmhurst University won the meet with 35 points.

Dayton Beatty was first across the line for the Spartans in 18:05.9.

Liam Evans finished close behind in 18:08.8.

Aurora's third finisher was Josh Thoms, who ran 18:19.4.

Edwin Amaro and Drew Kocsis rounded out the scoring for the Spartans in 18:46.2 and 19:25.3, respectively.

The next race for the Spartans comes on September 13th as they host the Spartan Classic. The meet is at Settler's Hill Cross Country Course in Geneva, IL.
