Aurora University senior Jackson Hulsey has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Hulsey earned the honor after he helped Aurora to the team title at the Carthage Firebird Fall Classic, capturing individual medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 10-under-par 134. His opening round of 7-under 65 tied the Aurora and NACC single-round aggregate scoring mark (65) and set a new mark for score in relation to par (-7).

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Wednesday, September 17 when they travel to the Folds of Honor Challenge host by Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan at The Meadows.
