Aurora University Athletics in conjunction with BSN Sports proudly announces the inaugural recipients of the BSN Spartan Athletes of the Week award. The honors are earned based on the student-athletes performances on their respective playing surface the previous week.

This week's honors go to AU sophomore women's volleyball setter Trinity Nelson and freshman women's golfer Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech.

Trinity Nelson - sophomore, setter, women's volleyball - 
Trinity Nelson was named to the Ripon College All-Tournament Team as she led AU to a 4-0 weekend. Nelson had 129 assists in four matches and averaged 10.75 per set while also adding a team-leading seven service aces on the weekend. She had double-doubles in AU's wins over UW-Superior (45 assists and 11 digs) and Saint Mary's (Minn) (54 assists and 12 digs).

Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech, freshman, golfer, women's golf - 
Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech won medalist honors as AU won the Carthage College Firebird Fall Classic. Tharpanawongwech won with a two-round score of 149 (75/74) while AU won with a two-round score of 608 (307/301).
