The Aurora University Spartans women's wrestling team competed in the Division III National Invitational hosted in the Quad Cities. The Spartans finished fifth with six individuals finishing in the top five of their respective weight brackets.


FINAL SCORE: AU finished fifth in the 30-team invitational with 110.5 points.

- Tasha Markoutsis finished second in the 124 bracket, scoring 23 points.
- Cheya Bishop finished third in the 160 bracket, scoring 25.5 points.
- Sophia Ball finished third in the 138 bracket, scoring 22.5 points.
- Anneliese Tavira finished fourth in the 180 bracket with 12.5 points.
- Kat Bell finished fifth in the 110 bracket with 18.5 points.
- Emma Engels finished fifth in the 124 bracket with 17 points.


Next action for the Spartan women's wrestling team comes on Friday, February 20 when they are scheduled to compete in the NCAA Division III Regional at the Heminger Center in Tiffin, Ohio.
