The Aurora University baseball team only had to play 7-innings on Wednesday. The Spartans put up 14 runs the Polars on their way to a blowout victory with a final score of 14-1. AU was helped out by starting pitchers Cory Macke who threw all seven inning racking up four strikeouts and allowing only three hits.

- AU jumped on top first, scoring two runs in the first inning.
- Tyler Patton collected his first RBI of the game with a sac fly to score Joe Lukancic.
- Ultimately the winning run was scored when Ryan Buck singled to right allowing Zack Tarrant to come around and score.
- A Polar error in the second later gave Zack Tarrant a chance to have a RBI single, scoring Isaac Goddard.
- Crown scored their only run of the ballgame in the third inning off of a RBI single.
- The bottom of the third saw AU answer back with two more of their own when Goddard and Jaden Holgado each put the ball in play scoring Kyle Mack and then Goddard.
- AU lead 5-1 after three innings of play.
- The rest of the game saw AU score nine more unanswered runs with Mack representing six of those nine with three RBIs and and two runs counted towards his own stats.
- The bottom of the fifth featured five Spartans runs, eventually ending with a Goddard RBI double scoring Buck and Mack.
- AU would take down Crown 14-1.
