The Aurora University softball team split day three in Florida as they dropped game one 13-4 against Worcester Polytechnic Institute, then turned around and won against Anderson University 5-1.

Game One
- WPI got out to an early lead after a Spartan error in the second eventually led to three runs.
- AU answered in the bottom of the inning with three runs of their own.
- Kelsey Oviatt hit a sac fly to score Angie Delgado.
- Mia Rivera then walked with the bases loaded, scoring Lily Komperda.
- The last run of the inning for the Spartans came when Nina Richards was hit by a pitch, walking in another run, this time in Carly Clemens.
- WPI then scored nine unanswered runs over the course of the next three innings.
- Mia Malczyk singled to center in the fifth and final inning to score the last run of the game.
- The Spartans would fall 13-4 in five innings to WPI.

Game Two
- To start game two, this time it was the Spartans who got on top early.
- Two Anderson errors gave way to three runs for AU.
- First it was Rivera who stole second, creating chaos on the bases and forcing a throwing error by Anderson. This allowed Aubrey Ortiz to score from third.
- A Komerda single to left, later in the inning, brought in Rivera, then on another Falcon error, brought Richards in the increase the AU first inning lead to 3-0.
- Anderson scored their one and only run of the ballgame in the third.
- The Spartans scored two more runs in the fifth off of two more Anderson errors.
- AU would win game two of the day 5-1 over Anderson.
