The Aurora University Spartans women's wrestling team opened day one of the 2025-2026 NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships in Coralville, Iowa. Spartan Sophia Ball opened eyes in the first round when she defeated the sixth seed in an 8-3 decision. Spartans Lexi Janiak and Genesis Ramirez both advanced to day to in their respective brackets.

NCAA Individuals Results
- Lexi Janiak went 2-0 in the 131-bracket and will wrestle in the semi-final tomorrow.
- Genesis Ramirez went 2-1 in the 103-bracket and will wrestle in the consolation bracket tomorrow.
- Sophia Ball went 1-2 in the 138-bracket with the win coming over the No.6 seed wrestler in the first match.


Next action for the Spartan women's wrestling team comes Saturday March 7 when they travel to NCAA National Championship in Coralville, Iowa.
