Aurora University baseball catcher Tyler Patton was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.
Patton earned the honor after he led the Aurora offense to a 3-1 week with a sweep of Concordia Chicago and split at MSOE. He went 10-for-17 with four home runs, three doubles while driving in 15 runs and scoring seven more. He had multiple hits in all four contests. In the doubleheader sweep of CUC he went 5-for-8 with three home runs and two doubles with 11 runs batted in and scored five times.
Next scheduled action for the Spartan baseball team comes on Tuesday, April 14 when they travel to Rockford University in a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 12:00 p.m. in Rockford, Illinois.
